I love a Southern sense of humor, finding a laugh and a shot of home-spun wisdom in the everyday absurdities of life. A friend of mine, David Mauldin, is a master of the art. The inspiration for this track came from a less than pleasant plane ride I endured. Still hard to believe I actually paid for the experience. But the song was a lot of fun to record, playing with the vocals and using only a single bass line for instrumentation. The percussion is actually me making a vocal sound like a guiro.
